I am an artist dedicated predominantly to figurative portraiture and the exploration of the human experience. My artistic journey has been shaped by rigorous training, including: the sight-size method at Charles Cecil Studio in Florence and attending The London Fine Art Studios, which is committed to the age-old techniques of drawing and oil painting; a first-class degree from Central Saint Martins in Fashion Knitwear; and over 1000 hours of certifications as a Yoga, Pilates, and Sound Healing teacher. I integrate these diverse disciplines into my painting practice, enriching the narratives I create and empathising with the mindbody or embodied practice that is often separated. This multidisciplinary background informs my sensitive and holistic approach to portraying the complexities of the bodymind and spirit. Meditation deeply informs my creative process. I have studied the teachings of Yogananda and practiced vipassana meditation, alongside engaging in bhakti yoga through leading Kirtans with renowned musicians. This practice has profoundly influenced my work by creating space for new perceptions, deeper understanding, and the ability to let go—elements that have been essential in the development of my work so far.
